Industrial trucks

What are industrial trucks?

Transport and conveying equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts belong to the industrial trucks. These vehicles are mainly used for horizontal transport of goods in warehouses and production halls of companies.

Classic forklifts are the most important material handling vehicles in industry and trade, such as for lifting goods stored on mesh baskets or Euro pallets. In agriculture and construction, telescopic forklifts are used primarily because their extended telescopic arm allows them to store crops at heights of several meters.

Smaller industrial trucks such as pallet trucks do not require a forklift license, whereas forklifts do.

Trackless floor conveyors include, for example:

  • Forklift
  • Cross stacker
  • Tractor
  • Hand pallet truck
  • Low lift truck
  • High lift pallet truck
