In this brochure we would like to inform you about important contents of the Electrical & Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) as well as the possibilities how you can return your old electrical equipment.

The basic aim of the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act is to protect the environment and health; in addition, it is intended to help conserve natural resources. The prerequisite for this is to avoid waste and recycle it as efficiently as possible. Among other things, the ElektroG obliges manufacturers to assume responsibility for the entire life cycle of their products.
