Bearing

What is a bearing?

The term warehouse is the short form for the term goods warehouse. Warehouses are used to store materials and goods that will not be needed until later and must be kept available for later use, e.g., for sale. A warehouse is a whole building or individual premises.

A warehouse incurs operating costs and requires a lot of space. In the manufacturing sector, the just-in-time method is therefore used to save storage space. This means that the goods are delivered exactly when they are needed for production.

These types of warehouses exist, for example, in companies:

  • Warehouse
  • Material store
  • Workshop warehouse
  • Interim storage
  • Shipping store
  • Raw materials warehouse
  • Sales warehouse
  • Finished goods warehouse
