Pick-to-Belt: From the article directly to the conveyor belt
Since picking is all about speed and accuracy, picking methods vary depending on the goods and their nature. Pick-to-Belt is a picking technique based on the operator (picker) placing the item directly from the storage compartment or the loading device onto a conveyor belt. This in turn is connected to the corresponding packing station in the context of a small parts warehouse (miniload).
Due to the direct removal, articles are directly fed to a sorter, so that a more precise assignment to individual picking orders can be made afterwards. Pick-to-Belt is used primarily in the small parts warehouse, which can be automated to a high degree.
