What is a package?
A package is a quantity of goods to be shipped by the shipper that are bundled into a unit and shipped together. These can be boxes, pallets, mesh boxes, roller containers or similar.
As a rule, this unit is provided with a unique identifier during the transport process which makes it possible to trace its path. According to this definition, two packages sent by courier are each a single package. A pallet containing a variety of different goods, which is not separated during transport from consignor to consignee, is also considered a package.
