Industrial Pallet

What is Industrial Pallet ?

An industrial pallet is a standardized flat pallet used as a load carrier, primarily in industrial settings. Compared to a Euro pallet, an industrial pallet is larger, making it ideal for transporting bulky or oversized goods.

As the name suggests, industrial pallets are commonly used in sectors like mechanical engineering, the chemical industry, or food production, where extra pallet surface is often required.

Key Characteristics of an Industrial Pallet:

  • Dimensions: 1,200 x 1,000 mm (as per DIN 15146)
  • Material: Can be made of wood, plastic, or metal
  • Standardization: Generally standardized (e.g., DIN), but less strictly regulated than Euro pallets
  • Typical use cases: Transport of large or awkward goods, especially where Euro pallets (1,200 x 800 mm) are too small or automated conveyor systems require larger formats
